(Contact the MCBRC Web Manager) 2011Topic: Website shutdown!I will be sad to see this web site close down -- it was a great resource for us (Zumbrota Community Band) for participants for our summer band festival. We never got our band listed on this page (tried several times), but we used the site often. Won't somebody keep it going???? Everyone is invited to attend or play with us in Virginia ... Mesabi Concert Band. We are always looking for new members and we all love music!!! Betty K <Email Address Not Printed> 12/26/08 04:17 (EST) Topic: Community Bands Main Guestbook I enjoyed browsing through your site - I haven't visited for several years. The "Amazing" Worthington City Band is winding up their season in July. We trace our origins back to 1893. What a great tradition of community bands we have in Minnesota. It's a great way to give back to the community, and to say thanks for all the music programs in the schools. Alex <Email Address Not Printed> 03/17/05 01:25 (EST) Topic: Community Bands Main Guestbook My name is Gerry Cowie and I play euphonium in the Saskatoon Brass Band in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. I'm writing to ask for your help in completing a survey for a tourism sales and marketing class. In a nutshell, the survey seeks to determine the level of interest in a vacation put together specifically with Brass or Brass Band players, Brass Band enthusiasts, or anybody who loves brass music in mind. This survey is unique and may be of real interest to any Brass player. I explain it in greater detail on my web page at http://www.brassbandvacations.com/ I encourage you to take a look. I'm asking for your help in completing the survey to give me some indication of the potential market for a tour of this nature. I would also be most grateful if you would consider forwarding this to anyone you think might be interested in this concept. This will expand the sample size for the survey and the reliability of the results. Thanks very much for your help. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me at this e mail address: gerry@brassbandvacations.com Gerry Cowie Gerry Cowie <Email Address Not Printed> 01/27/05 10:40 (EST) 2004Topic: Community Bands Main GuestbookCool Site just stopping by. www.core9.com Bart <Email Address Not Printed> 12/20/04 17:46 Topic: Community Bands Quick Guestbook Dave, did you get the Sousa Band schedule that I posted on the community band website last week?
