10:00 am - 4:00 pm - Northland Art Society - Art Show & Book Signing at Backus, contact Kay Arnold at 218-286-3156, raffle of Leonard Melville painting. The Club also made a lighted Int'l. Falls "historical building" Christmas Village. One building will be sold each year as a Club fund raiser. Orders for the 1st building will be taken at the ACR.

We are not raffling off the International Falls snow village, we are in the process of getting molds made and a building will be sold each year. We will be taking orders at the reunion. It will be on display downtown hopefully soon. It will then be an on going fund raiser for the art club for our scholarship program.

... the International Falls Christmas village is now on display down town International Falls. It's being displayed in the window of the store on the corner next to City Drug. The store's last name was Zone One Outlet (now closed), but years ago it was the great Stevenson's store.

Art Show
The Northland Art Society is organizing the show and will provide some exhibit boards and tables as well. The Art Society will be working in shifts at the show but artists may "sit" with their exhibit also. Thirty percent of the proceeds from the sale of art pieces will be used to benefit Backus and the Art Society.

Artists should let the committee know if they plan to exhibit at the show to assist in making plans for space, etc.
